Default SECO Delayed Payment Receipt

Is anyone else having a problem getting payments to SECO on time? For the last couple of months it takes almost two full weeks between the time I mail my payment and when they post it to my account. This has resulted in late payment charges. I just switched to automatic payments from my checking account but curious if anyone else had this problem.

That's why I use direct payment. The mail is slower.

We take care of ours online at the SECO website.

This is the link to sign up to pay on line, will need to create an account. It's is totally free and they send you an E Mail when your bill posts on line. They will still mail you the paper copy if you desire...Could not be easier...

I use the Bill Pay at my banks online site. I get the bill there instead of it being mailed to me. I get an email stating my bill is ready and I just pay it electronically. It has not been late yet.

Same here. We usually pay about a week ahead of the due date and haven't had any issues so far.

We had a problem early on with not receiving an invoice in the mail one month from SECO. Fortunately, we'd already gone the same route as you and had gotten set up for the automatic monthly payment so it wasn't a problem. I called SECO to see what had happened - they had no idea.

Other than that minor glitch, it's been smooth sailing for us!

We get an bill from them. We go online to their web site and pay it there. Easy and immediate, plus you have proof of your payment.

I don't like automatic deductions from checking account. For instance, last month either the bank or the insurance co. took my husband's supplemental ins. payment out twice. Banks can and do make mistakes. We do ebilling and pay on the vendor's web site whenever possible. Wish VCDDD would go that route without tacking on a $5 fee for paying online.

We have it automatically come out monthly. Works best for me--the more I have coming out the more I have to manage with paying on time via mail, online on their website and also bill pay with my bank. Of course-I am a working girl and stay pretty busy...so less managing is more time in TV to have fun!
