Need recommendations for someone experienced at treating moles. Our lawn company state they lack experience doing this.

Treat the lawn for grubs and crickets, remove the food source and they will leave. Probably to your neighbors lawn, sharing is caring.

Find the mole run between dirt mounds, open from the top, set trap in the center of the run, then cover with the lifted sod leaving the top of the trap exposed so you can see when the mole has gone to Mole World.
Do not handle the killing end too much, moles navigate by smell.
Have got rid of dozens over the years.
Probably a YouTube video showing how to set traps.

Moles go where the grubs are. That means the lawn is infested with grubs. If you kill the moles, the grubs will thrive, and you'll see more beetles of a variety of types once the grubs finish growing.

If you get rid of the grubs, the moles will go away because you will have eliminated their food source.

In the meantime, waiting for the food source to be eradicated, the mole/s turn the yard into landscape similar to the Somme battlefield.
Mole first. Then take care of what attracted them.

Grubs take 2-3 days to die. If you stay on top of it, you'll never have any moles you need to get rid of.

We found out we had moles when we lost one of the main power lines to the house. They chewed through the insulation and the exposed line rotted away so we only had one of the two power legs. SECO came, set up a temporary device to get us back to 2 lines (just 1/2 the amps) and then came back, found the broken wire, dug it up and patched it.

Moles are repelled by the smell of urine. I had satisfactory results up North by peeing in my yard. Try it and see if it repels the mole into your neighbor's yard. If you have a dog, let it use your own yard for a toilet instead of your neighbors'.

When I saw the topic of your post, it brought back horrible memories of a mole problem I had in Seattle just a few years ago. If you get your lawn healthy (grubs), they should leave. If the neighbor is the problem, good luck. There is a formula of water and dish soap and something else (I don’t recall), you can find the formula online. You make and poor into the hole/runs and it gives moles gastrointestinal discomfort, if you know what I mean, they “run” for the next yard. In my case, it had reached a point I had to bring in a “mole guy” that trapped and took them away. Had reoccurring problem, several weeks every year. Probably spent $2-3k on the mole guy. First step, healthy lawn.

The stuff that eliminates grubs is nasty. I’d rather have grubs than a dog that gets cancer. Kill the moles with a spring trap.

If this is serious, it doesn't work. We have mole issues and my dog pees there all the time. Granted, I haven't tried peeing there myself, but I don't think the neighbors would be too keen on that.
