I'm expecting an oversized package/envelope to be sent to TV by USPS. If it's too large for the box, how are we notified and what is the procedure for procuring it?

When I got one they delivered it to my home.

You can also give the postal station workers a note to call you and they'll call you. I've had them call about a large package for me to pick up and other times, I've had them delivered to me.

Envelope? Surely that won't be too big to fit in one of the locker-boxes at your mail center. You will get a key in your mailbox; go around the building to get to the large boxes, find your number and open it with the key.
