Default Orlando - good restaurant?

We are taking my son to the airport tomorrow afternoon and would like to do something in the city. Any suggestions for good dinner places ? other fun things to do? We have done the parks during the week. Thanks for taking the time to give us ideas.

get off the tourist beat and go to Park Ave. in Winter Park. Lots of quaint shops and many great restaurants.

Plus .... the largest collection of Tiffany art in world is located The Morse Museum on the north end of Park Ave. No relation to "The Developer" .... but kinda a cosmic coincidence huh. ;-)

Seasons 52 is a great restaurant. We like to go down to Lake Eola just to walk around. Winter Park boat trip is fun...you see some beautiful old homes around the lake. The Tiffany museum is great.

Definitely try Seasons 52 on Sand Lake Road. One of our favorite restaurants to go to. Love those shot glass deserts.

Seasons 52 is great and for wonderful Italian, there is Christini's on Dr Phillips off Sand Lake Road (across from Seasons 52). Enjoy!

You said you did the theme parks----how about Downtown Disney? They have several good restaurants and some music.

Love Winter Park...great place to stroll and shop. The Morse Museum is just down the block from all the shops and has the largest Tiffany collection in the US. My fav restaurants are Mi Tomina (a paella restaurant) in Winter Park, The Tasting Table at the Edgewater in downtown Winter Garden (voted best restaurant in the orlando area last yr) and Emerils in City Walk at Universal.

We had a very nice evening at Season 52. Thank you. We will keep a list of the suggestions for future trips to Orlando.

Tommy Bahama's on International Ave. near the Convention Center. We ate there a few time and we loved it, but it is a little on the expensive side for those on a restricted budget.

Tommy Bahama Orlando

For the sake of full disclosure I should mention that I am predijice. My cousin Mario is manager there! However, I wouldn't go and recommend there if I didn't like the food and service we've had. If anyone should go, ask for him and tell him his cousin Joe from The Villages sent you.
