Pick a few colors that you like and buy a quart of each. Paint a strip of each color on a wall and observe how each looks in the morning, afternoon, and night. Choose your favorite and paint over the other two covering the entire wall. Take a few days to observe how well the color you chose goes with your furniture and cabinets. If satisfied, then you can paint the entire interior.

You can go to the Street of Dreams and look at the colors they used in the model homes. If you find one you like, they can tell you the exact color and brand of paint used. IMO, a neutral color is best.

Ruth Dyer has a weekly decorating article in Wednesday's Daily Sun. She has guided many home and villa owners here in The Villages on color choices for their home, taking into consideration the natural light available. You may also be able to view a residence, similar to yours, that uses the same color you are considering. Her contact info is

Some time ago, as I recall both Lowe's and Home Depot had an APP, you could take a picture of the room you wanted to paint, and then choose a new wall color and it would show you the results. NO idea if this is still around, it could save you a lot of work.

Whatever colors you choose, you will get tired of them. Paint the entire house off-white and add color with pictures, tapestries, and other decorations.
