Default Painting exterior

How often do masonry homes have to be repainted...and about how much does it cost?
I like the masonry look better than vinyl siding, but am concerned about upkeep on masonry.

We just bought a concrete CYV, and I asked that question. The way TV does it, is the WHOLE neighborhood gets painted at one time. The project is bid on and awarded, then you just pay your share.
Also you will find, concrete much cheaper to insure. To me that was well worth the trade-off of having to pay for painting every few years.
