Default Water Wheel

Is the water wheel attached to the Coldwater Creek store at Lake Sumter Landing functional or just for looks?

It powers all of The Villages. That's why you don't get an electric bill.

LOL! Now all we need is for it to pump water for irrigation!

Really though I think it's just for show (just like the lock) but it shows nicely and makes you think back to simpler times.

Publix sells the flour that is ground at the mill beside the water wheel.

they use it to collect duck feathers for the new craze of adding feathers to your hair already washed and ready to go. See them at the cash registor LOL
