Default Palm & tree branches not being picked up from driveway!

Recently had cut up palm & tree branches in short lengths, and stacked nicely, & left in driveway for scheduled day pick up. They did not pick up. We have lived here in The Villages for over 12 years, & have never had this happen. I called, & the lady on the phone said to bundle them, & they would come back by and get them. My wife & I bundled them, but they did not come back that day. I called the next day, and again they said they would send truck to pick up. Still did not pick up. Long story short, We called each day with the same answer, but no pick up until the regular day pick up the following week. We have put cut up yard waste not bundled in driveway for years with no problem. Now it seems as though they pick up some not bundled, and require some to be bundled. This seems to be a growing issue. Anyone else have a problem with their inconsistent matter of handling yard waste? Thank you.

In the eleven and a half years we have been in TV I have always bundled my stuff in three foot lengths, as directed, and never have they failed to collect it or the yard waste bags.

Ditto. Over a period of 14 years we have put out lot of yard trash. We have always bundled it as directed and have never had an issue.

Was yours the only one on your street not picked up? I had one palm frond missed once. Mine was the only one out on my street & I think they couldn't see it from the cross-street. And if you read the front pages of your phone book it says to "bundle & tie" the branches/fronds. I think I'm the only one around who ties the bundle.

Growing issue? First time in 12 years doesn't seem like a growing issue.

In my neighborhood they take everything, bundled or not. I guess it depends on how lazy the guys are.
