Cart paths at Hacienda have been very bad for years. Broken concrete, heaved sections, concrete completely missing. The Palmer pot hole is nothing compared to Hacienda cart path conditions.

Yet, don't you dare go on that driving range without a collared shirt.

Oh, also a friendly reminder the green fees will be $70 come Jan 1.

Fix the dam pothole already!
If your ball lands in the pothole, play it as 'ground under repair'.

The funny thing is the pothole is right next to the starter shack.
They stare at it all day long. lol.

We all know the restaurants are privately run, the grounds are kept up by the developer on championship courses, but managed by the District. Don't we?
Maybe that’s the issue you think? Three different groups all functioning within the same venue. So who is in charge overall?

Default Trail Fees Should Pay for Repair & Maintenance

Thousands of Villages residence pay hefty trail fees, which should pay for repairs & maintenance. Many of the golf course trails have cracks, pot holes and areas lifted by tree roots that should be addressed on a regular basis.

The "trail fee" pays for maintenance of paths on the executive courses, NOT Palmer or any other championship course.

One might also argue that $4/ round or $140 for a year of unlimited use is hardly "hefty"

Also, it looks like the ‘pothole’ is on a MMP, not even the golf course (let alone an executive course) where the trail fee is directed.

The first time I went there I was wearing a t-shirt. They called me on it nd provided me a golf shirt to wear while there. Have to return it though.

Where is “there”?

My grandsons were required to wear a collared shirt, even when only 7 and 9 years old at Sarasota. Guess it depends on who is “ working at the window”..

It depends on who you talk to. I was told there were no restrictions on the dress code at Sarasota Driving Range, which makes it friendlier to residents and visitors. Then I was told by another Sarasota Driving Range employee, that the same rules apply as those on the courses. It does not make sense.

Regarding the pothole - remember it is cheaper to put a cone over the hole than to fix the hole. Just like bumps in the road, it is easier to put up a sign that says "bump" than to fix the bump. Hahaha
