Palmers Pothole
This pothole at Palmers has been there for almost a year now, they only put a cone over it a couple of months ago.
Yet, don't you dare go on that driving range without a collared shirt. Oh, also a friendly reminder the green fees will be $70 come Jan 1. Fix the dam pothole already! |

You would think that for $75, you would get better conditions than exist today.

Free Enterprise rules!
There is enough demand to allow for a 75 Dollar green. Nothing personal, It's just business. Happy New Year!

As you probably know, people are “brave” hiding behind a keyboard rather than going to the source as to ask when the pothole may be fixed, why the green fees are $70, why he has to wear a collared shirt on the range, yada, yada, yada.

It's actually sad to see Palmers go down hill especially with the recent health code violations. Just be sure to pay the 3% CC tax. |

Not sure it makes sense to lump Commercial Property Management issues (cracked/potholed sidewalks) with any VCCD golf issues and it is definitely NOT productive to even allude to issues at the restaurant and equate it to have anything to do with golf. We all know the restaurants are privately run, the grounds are kept up by the developer on championship courses, but managed by the District. Don't we?

Exactly. They have a captive audience here, so to speak. Most people won't go outside the Villages where course conditions are better and prices are cheaper, and The Villages takes advantage of that. Good business for them, not so great for the residents.
