all 20 miles or so straight east, northeast, or southeast. Take you pick from Miami to Jacksonville.

Define what you consider nice. For us it is no crowds, plenty of room to spread out on nice white sand, and no buildings near the beach, especially high rises. Others like the opposite, commercial development with stores and restaurants. We like to keep things as simple as possible at the beach, two backpack beach chairs, towels, sun lotion, something to read, and everything else we need for the day in a small cooler. Playalinda beach on the Cape Canaveral sea shore is the best we have found so far.

No, there are no beaches "on the way to Orlando".

Do you see any on a map?

Can you clarify what east coast beaches are within 20 miles of The Villages?

Look at a map Orlando is about 1 hour west of the Atlantic Ocean or you might try Seven Seas Lagoon at Disney.

None, asked about from Orlando way I interpreted? which closer to east coast. Several ways to get there interstate down to Orlando then 408 east. 40 east comes out by Daytona, or 46 east, but not straight shot and lots of towns to go through. Lots of public beaches all along east coast. IMO less populated are satellite beach and above. Depend on what you looking for?

You best bet is Google earth, you can view beaches and have actual view on the beach. You can also map with way you want to go turnpike to Orlando and 408 east probably easiest. 40 east you go north east to 40 then east, but it you want go to Daytona or satellite beach may be easier than going down then back up? Ok got my beaches confused,

New Smyrna Beach, FL - Official Website | Official Website

This beach above Daytona, satellite beach below cocoa beach. Which ever you’re best idea use Google earth.

No beaches between The Villages and Orlando. However, due east of Orlando International Airport approximately 50 miles on toll road 528 is the city of Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach which has a very nice Atlantic Ocean beach, many restaurants, motels and a large beach pier.

Back in the day, we used punctuation to establish meaning and read our sentence for clarity. For example:
"Any nice beaches on East coast on the way to Orlando?"

becomes:

"Any nice beaches on the East Coast? Leaving from Orlando."

Thank you. Thank you very much.

Playalinda is a beautiful beach, at the Canaveral National Seashore. Miles of undeveloped sand and dunes make for a great day.

Plus, nude beach.
