I didn't realize that the villages had "men only" privileges... that the men get to use the room at the center to play cards and kick the women out???
Obviously the weekly info paper doesn't know this either.....it was advertised
"High-low-jack" (4 players) last night at 630.
I went along with my husband, walked in and asked if there was room to play. The guys said he could play, but I could not. " its a men's only game"...always has been.
I was very nice to them,even made a few jokes and we left. As we then headed to the square I was starting to fume....."are you kidding me" what's next, the strippers show up?
I'm not trying to cause a problem, or ruin a weds night tradition....but its not right, its 2021 and its segregation. THE VILLAGES paper should be advertising it correctly....that women are "not allowed".....give me a break!!

So no, don't let her go there to volunteer....she's not welcome.....

I understand what you are trying to say.....but read and understand what I wrote..... there is a problem here....paper thinks its an open game....false advertising...first mistake...and it goes downhill from there.

I'm not entirely sure I'd enjoy seeing either one of them if they live in TV !
