Default Pegasus Water System

Can anyone give me information on the Pegasus Water System vs going to Lowes or Sears and purchasing a water softner and filter system?

Our close friends installed a " Pelican " water softener and swear by it. Check it on-line, usually free shipping and hire a plumber to install it for you..simple

You may want to take a look at our filters.

Before spending money on a water softener, try a whole house filter system first. You may be surprised at how nice it works, and you may feel that you don't need the added expense of a water softener.

We have the Pegasus system installed and love it. Right down to my dishes and silverware being commented on by guests as to how clean they are...No stain, residue, film. The system doesn't require changing any filters, etc. We just added our first bag of potassium, after 7 months, at $20. I definitely use less cleaning, washing, shampooing product with the softener, and like the feel of softer skin.

We had our system installed by Kiley and Sons Plumbing (located on 441, Fruitland Park area) for under 400 dollars or you can by the parts from Lowes or Home Depot and do the install yourself. The filters are very easy and cheap to install.

We had Scott plumbing install a house filter for under $400. Just need to replace filters every 6 months. Nice small unit on the garage wall. No salt, no backwash draining/plumbing expense. It's doing a great job.

Had a Pegasus System installed today. Great people with top notch installers and a great product. So far we love the system. If your in the market for a water filtration system give them a call for a demo 352-277-1978.
