Absolutely agree. I have my own light display and would not want lights on my lamp post.

Also.....it is trespassing for anyone but the home owner to set foot on a property and place any decorations on that property. What if the person injured themselves while placing the lights on the lamp post? There is always that possibility and that has not been mentioned on this thread that I have seen.

I don't see it that way.....at all. They were trespassing. Period!!!
