I'm not so sure I would relieve the electorate of responsibility. Look at yesterday's vote to replace a certain Orlando city councilperson. My reaction was that the position should have been filled by appointment---Orange County or Orlando City mayor. until the charges brought against her ,Regina Hill had done a lot of good not only in her district but for others in Orlando. the community has a right to pick there own candidates to represent them I can think of quite a few stupid people here ,who have done the same thing and will probably do it again and that is your right .
