My question is if pickle ball replacement rates are so high why should they not be funded by the users ? Let's try this. Does TV supply softballs at the baseball diamonds or is there a league fee the players pay which includes the purchase of baseballs ? I can see shuffle board, horseshoes, etc - those type things are used over and over I.E. not consumed.
The villages buys balls in bulk so the get discount. When I first got here I brought my own balls. Somebody asked if I stole them. I said no I'm new and thought like all other sports you supply you're own ball. the village also supply table tennis paddles and balls, pickleball is probably the second biggest sport in the villages, if you exclude dancing and drinking at the squares Believe it or not, not everybody comes here for golf.

This reminds me of the times we lived in Melboure, FL. Behind us were golf course ponds, and it always amazed me to see golfers grope through the ponds looking for their balls, holding up the players behind them.
