I think duct tape will work better.

I play quite a bit of PB, and have been fighting nagging injuries all winter. The one thing that really astounds me is the number of people who play PB without eye protection. The one place on the human body where a pickleball can cause really serious damage, is the naked, unprotected eye.
A foul tip off of one's own racket, or one's partner's racket send the ball eyeward faster than a blink.
Just crazy. People have lost the vision in a struck eye, permanently.

I did check with my Podiatrist... I talked to him in the mirror... He told me his patient is an idiot... Pretty rude, if you ask me...

Took quite awhile to heal, only surprise to me was that they wanted me to start stretching exercises right away. Of course I'm sure you know that. Mine was a "decide between surgery or extended rehab" kind of tear, and I opted for rehab. Don't recall exact timing, but it seemingly took forever to heal with no pain. I wish you good luck and hope it was a minor partial tear, if such a thing exists.
Surgery to repair the plantar fascia is rarely done. In fact, one of the treatments for chronic fasciitis is to do a surgical "release" of the fascia. That's when you cut is free from the heel bone and let it re-heal in an extended position...

but on the good side, at least you can bill for your own services!

and as far as the TOTV medical advice, everyone's an expert with experiences. . . its the nice part of TOTV as there are so many posters all with great life experiences, and all mean well. .

Most certainly! All of the suggestions and recommendations are taken in good spirits, since I know people are only trying to be helpful... And for that, I'm grateful...

I popped a handful of Motrin, and I've spent the afternoon with and ice bag on my heel and the foot elevated. No sign or bruising or swelling (which is good), but it hurts like a sumbich when I first get up to walk...

I had to cancel our golf game this afternoon...

I could have sworn someone said that Pickelball was better than golf...

Hopefully, I'll be able to play golf when my daughter and son in law arrive tomorrow evening. We have a tee-time at Evans Prairie on Wednesday...

Well, at least I'll be able to take the cart...[/QUOTE

… did you confuse us with a Dr. visit??? If so, your copay to me is $150 … and you are behind on your account… is says here … $2000.

… sorry … hope you rebound soon!!!
Can I hire you to do MY billing?

Default Alternative Help

Have you hard of Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Therapy?(EMTT).
or Extracoreal Pulse Activation Therapy (EPAT)
or Shockwave Treatment?
I am being treated for Plantar Fasciitis with all 3 of these. I haven't completed all 3 sessions - but after 1 session (of all 3) - huge improvements.
If you are interested - the doctor is Dr. Gegaj - in Lake Sumter Landing. He treated his shredded Achilles Tendon - and is now playing soccer again. He's a very athletic Dr. and strives to get people back on the court - I am a pickleball players as well. Hope this helps.

How long have you been treated for talking to a mirror, and writing down the mirrors responses? I know a doctor who can treat you for that, only thing is he kind of sorta started to do the same thing.

In my professional opinion (hold an MBA degree) I am in favor of shock wave therapy as long as it is always done on others.
