What do people do with the slider door? I have shutters on all the regular windows and I looked at 48 Hr blinds site and saw beautifull pictures for French door blinds. Love those but my slider has be wondering how to cover it. Would love to see pictures of what everyone else does. In the past I've used verticals for my slider up north but I don't love the idea. Any suggestions? If you have something you need to put up every day doesn't that let in a lot of light that fades furniture and brings in a lot of heat? Something like the blinds would give me 'half light' which might be better but the look isn't my favorite. What to do, what to do. I know there must be better minds than mine out there...

I was kind of dreading the verticals on the sliders as well but don't know of a better, functional way since those doors will probably get a lot of use.

Thumbs up 48 Hours

I met with Rick while they were building my house. We discussed the color scheme, what kind of shutters I wanted and how they should. To be honest, I deferred to him for much of it as he is the expert.

I gave him a deposit and my closing date. On closing, I called him and as promised, he was there with his wonderful crew. I left to pick up my cart and by the time I got back, they were installed.

Everything went seamlessly! I would and have recommended him to my friends and neighbors.

I love my shutters and I love 48 Hour!!!

Please do not hesitate to call him!

Has anyone used the Vertiglides? They are another option to the verticals. I am still unsure of what to do.
