We have a plastic shower enclosure in a 2011 villa we bought 2.5 years ago.
The inside of the enclosure was caulked on the inside (probably when the sellers were getting the villa ready to sell), and I understand it was only supposed to be caulked on the outside, so moisture is getting in the wall and causing some bubbles in the paint. Anyone have recommendations on remediation of this problem? Thanks |

Where on shower enclosure? Are you talking where the sliding door meets? I agree if that’s the case? should be caulked on inside to seal water from getting pass the sliding door frame. If at frame (if you have sliding door?) suspect it’s been leaking awhile and that was hatchet job to get by. I would remove all the chalk , clean real good, and re-chalk it see if that’s seals it?
