ALL par 3's in TV, are cart path only; execs and champ. No CAP, no on the fairways. In wet conditions, CART PATH ONLY! As far as playing after hours playing, the shacks are closed. If conditions allow, it is perfectly OK to play.

I so believe they may have just been unaware???? Oftentimes golfers go out after 7 without a tee time without stopping at the shack where you said the sign was located. Just a thought.

Generally there is an orange cone on the path to the first tee with a "course closed" sign. Hard to imagine that anyone was "unaware"

There was a two some who had just teed off on the first hole, at one course, and on the other course there was a foursome in play around the third hole who drove on the fairway. Then, a 3some pulled up to play, without stopping at the starter's shack. I politely told them the course was closed, but they ignored me, and went to the first hole and teed off.

What really annoyed me though were the people who drove on the fairway, after all the rain we just had. The old, Starter/Ranger in me wanted to drive up to them, and read them the riot act.

Some people have no respect for the area we live in or other residents. I live near 3 executive courses and in the past it was not unusual that we’d go out and play a few holes after they were closed for the day BUT if it rained it is common sense that you’d stay off that course. OH WAIT - COMMON SENSE some people lack that and don’t respect rules.

So, in you mind (rationalization), it is OK to VIOLATE the course closed admonition if the course is dry, but not if wet? Did the sign say "course closed unless YOU feel it is dry enough, or late enough, or simply that you won't get caught"?

Well, at least that is better than those that think it is OK to violate the rules whenever they feel like it.

Rule, rules, we don’t need no stinkin rules!

Courses aren’t closed automatically after the shack closes. But when the ‘course closed’ signs are out, that’s a totally different story.

I don’t agree with driving on the fairways when wet, but if people are on the cart path and playing and still have daylight I see no problem. The people out here that are over reacting to this are probably folks that still have masks on! Lighten up people!

So the heck with the rules and full speed ahead. Look at how well that’s working for are world right now.

You people are beyond rational and reasonable. HIPAA Does not apply to asking you about your vaccination status.

What would happen to you if you went into a business that had a sign that said closed. You would probably be arrested. I am not advocating that these offenders be arrested, but closed means closed and they should not be on the course. If everyone took the attitude I can do what I want when I want this place would become an absolute zoo.

You are right, since I pay amenities, the executive courses ARE my business.

Saw 3 different groups playing during the lighting, one on a green holding the pin up over his head. For the love of golf or just no brain.

Correct. It just means you don't have to answer.
