I don’t agree with driving on the fairways when wet, but if people are on the cart path and playing and still have daylight I see no problem. The people out here that are over reacting to this are probably folks that still have masks on! Lighten up people!

Bravo, my thoughts exactly. I personally don’t do it but folks just need to lighten up and enjoy life

Really. So if you were driving down your street and saw some kids with a can of spray paint putting graffiti on a neighbor's house you would "mind your own business"? I'm glad you're not my neighbor.

How in the world do you equivocate spray painting a house to playing golf when the course is closed

Again, the topic is not playing after hours when the course has been open. There is a mechanism that allows for that. The discussion is about people playing on a CLOSED course. And I don't understand why it required this many posts---it's simple----CLOSED MEANS CLOSED. No exceptions. No deciding for yourself if it is playable. No walking your dog, riding your bike or walking the paths. Just follow the rules and STAY OUT. For all you know a sinkhole opened up, or a hole was dug and not yet marked, or toxic chemicals were applied, etc. Again, it is not up to YOU to decide when the course is CLOSED

Both equal trespassing
Both can cause damage

How do YOU NOT see it??????

Besides, the context was in regard to ignoring blatant trespassing and "minding your own business". Don't cherry pick

I was thinking the same thing. OP knows exactly what hole they were at, watched them drive past the shack, drive on the greens etc. Obviously needs to join a few clubs or something to occupy their time so they wont be tailing people around. Condos call that type “condo commandos”

My group was scheduled to play when rain was predicted. I chose to stay home and two decided to play. The downpour hit when they were on the fourth green at Palmetto. They waited for the rain to die down momentarily and then finished the hole despite the green being drenched. They got a text or call from the starter shack telling them to get off the course. They did.

It was most certainly because of the rain and the possibility of damaging the course.

People have always practiced on golf courses after hours, Pros that grew up on golf courses tell stories of playing after hours.

Hmmmmm. How did the starter know their number??

This person said he/she was driving "past" the exec courses - never said they were on the c ourse

Just a guess, but I think it would be cheaper to remove a tag from a building than to repair a bunch of footprints on the green and deep ruts in the fairways.

Are you just curious or accusing me of lying?

Maybe because it’s in the database? Just like the Community Watch knows what number to call when you leave your garage door open at night.

This wasn’t after hours. It was after the rain stopped. The courses were closed due to wet conditions.
