Default Loving our visit

Arrived in Hadley on 3/1 and have been going ever since. Themore days that pass, the more things we find to love!
So many open houses to see! You can get a really good feel for what kind of property you can afford & want. Finally meeting with Jim McLaughlin (who is the best) this morning to go to Model Park, etc. So excited. We are trying to hold off buying property until home is sold, but it's going to be VERY HARD. Already do not want to go back to CT!
For anyone wondering whether to come or not...it's a no brainer for us!
Hello to all!

Hi. The Villages is great.

My only advice at all, would be to take a deep breath and just rent a month or so, and really get the feel before deciding where to live.

This community is vast, and the logistics, amenities, etc. , plus the housing types (ie: electric in the newer areas, gas in the north) are considerations.

We couldn't absorb it all in a short visit and it worked out best to understand the flow.

Best wishes.

Thanks, JohnN, We are renting for the month of March and your reply is exactly why. Wanted to get a feel of actually living here. Just so excited that we can't stay away from open houses!
We wil defintely build or buy new (my obsession). This will be our last home and want it to be all ours!
Thanks for your input - always helpful to have lots of opinions!
