Default Residents still working

Just curious as to the opinions of you all regarding the number of residents that still work. Let's say they work at least 30 hours or more a week. What would you think the ratio would be 10/1, 20/1, 50/1? Non-working/working. Higher? Lower?
Personally, I'm figuring around 20/1.

I still work at least 30 hours/week. When I talk to people, it seems that very few work anything more that part time. I'd say 20/1 seems right.

sounds about right to me also. Out of all my friends that are here full time, I only know of two that work.

Sweetie works. Slightly more than thirty hours. But at home and at his convenience.

I work in a small business; out of appx. 30 employees, at least 7 of us are of retirement age (including the owners) and each of us works a minimum of 40 hours each. None of us are considering permanent retirement in the forseeable future, all for various reasons which include the need for income that cannot be satisfied by other sources (social security, pensions, iras/401 k's), and also because we all enjoy working, love being around all sorts of people, seem to need the productivity and responsibilities associated with employment, and cannot envision a life of play.

My limited math skills(100,000 population) tells me that would be about 5,000 TV residents. That is a pretty good guess but those working 30 hours or more----maybe a bit high. Maybe 25:1?? Anyway, good question.

Actually, that is why I was inquiring. If the number is around 5,000 residents, I was wondering why there aren't any more offerings in the evenings? If the number of folks is not that high, then that would make sense to not have that much available. But, my spouse among others, would be interested in evening exercise classes. Just asking, not complaining. We knew what we were getting into.

My spouse says that many of the exercise classes are very crowded during the day---especially true during the winter months. I don't know why more evening classes aren't offered---some have quit even trying to get into a class.

Those that aren't working could join those that are working and both would be happy!
