Default Poland Springs Water

Up in New England, we drink Poland Spring's water. The only place we can find it in TV is at Staples, and they sell out fast. I wonder how much interest there would be for home delivery down here if it was available?

To the best of my knowledge I believe Poland Springs is owned by Coke Cola.
Desani would be basically be the same product.
Poland Spring trucks in it's water from all over New England
Not some secret underground lake that they would like you to visualize

That's what I use, too. A Brita water filter.

Dasini is purified tap water. Poland Spring is spring water from the mountains of Maine. NO chlorine, which will destroy your gut flora, big difference. 80% of your immune system is in your gut. I buy it and take it to Florida. Florida spring water does not taste good. I will check out Staples.

Good question. Poland Spring's water is the only bottled water we drink; we even travel with it. It has no added salt type substances, etc. Good to know that it is carried at Staples in TV.

You are correct, although it is owned by Nestle now, the water still comes from Maine springs.......below is quoted from Nestle website. I've read several articles online re Poland Springs....it's the only water we drink.
We buy it by the case and hopefully can do the same in Florida. I noticed that they have a home delivery service........not sure if it would be available in TV.

Strangely, we find other bottled waters make us "more thirsty".....

The cheaper bottled waters actually come from big cities.....not from natural springs at all

If you read the label it gives the source. Poland Spring is pure spring water. Tap water is treated with chlorine, filters do not remove it. Chlorine kills beneficial bacteria in the gut.

I'm having a bit of trouble with these chlorine claims. Bottlers use ozone and ultraviolet light to eliminate pathogens when they bottle. Chlorine is a gas and even if a bottler is using a municipal water source, any chlorine would dissipate long before it got to your mouth. Perhaps we have some experts on TOTV that could clarify this.

The 'tap' water in my Maine house comes from a well - and that well draws water from the aquifer below my property - one and the same aquifer that P.S. uses to draw from for their bottling. That aquifer is fueled by mountain snow runoff every spring among rain water, etc.

Why do you say "Not one drop comes from the Mt's of Maine..."?
