Yeah, but no one has actually said for sure what the pole is being used for, except maybe lightning sensor/siren.
Gracie has denied Bill's guess.
I usually know when lightning hits though, without a pole! And, apparently it can only be seen in even numbered years.

It is really an antenna from a alien space ship that crashed there last week. The space ship hit so hard that it became buried with only the antenna showing.

I wonder if it is the antenna used to controll the irrigation system for the golf course.

I HOPE it's a cell tower...my neighbors say that Verizon drops calls in Sanibel, and we're moving there tomorrow!

Sheesh.
I'm about a third Polish. Could I be your dancing pole?

Now that's funny!
I don't think you can be 1/3. I think it only comes in halves, quarters, eights, sixteenths, etc.!

Polish jokes aside, are we looking at the new water tower south of 466A?

YOU would be my first choice.

1/3? You learn new concepts down here all the time.

I love it here.

Default Tall Pole

inRumor has it that it is Elmer Waslewski, the infamous ten foot pole who refuses to touch anything.
