I got it and agree, I find it hard to play in these table, but it don't cost me other than my amenities fees, so I have no complaints. These tables only make my game better in the long run do to you have to be near prefect on every shot.

Kinda like comparing Chula Vista (the short big pocket bar table) golf course to Lopez ( the 9 foot regulation table).

Does this rule apply only to playing pool or every subject discussed on TOTV?

Okay Minnesota Fats, born and raised in Dowell, IL (about 75 miles north of Paducah, Ky.) and 25 miles (more or less) from my hometown. He was featured in the "Hustler" and played by Jackie Gleason. It's a classic.

The Villages most knowledgable four or five players might want to get together with the Recration Department and make some suggestions mentioned in this Thread. From what I hear----they will be happy to work with you.

Ok. Good analogy. I understand.

New York Fats. born in New York City. He has taken several tag names until the movie came out. Took the name Minnesota Fats after the movie starring Paul Newman and Jackie Gleason came out.

Here some truths about Minnesota Fats. I don't think anybody knows the hole truth.

I could be. I understand you to say that you are not happy with the pool tables. I also think that they are north of 466 where some kind of process occurs that involves the folks who live there, which is different than how things work south of 466. You think that too much money is being spent on an inferior product to repair the pool tables. I get that you are an EXCELLENT pool player and are far more aware what is superior in a pool table and lighting.

You think that less money could have been spent to get a better product on the pool table(s) of which you speak. You also favor another brand name for the tables which you find inferior. You say that the lighting is not good and more importance has been placed on how the lighting fits into the room than on it's functionality.

Please feel free to point out my most major misconceptions.

I am not much of a pool player but did own a pool table for years and watched a lot of pool being played at it. None of my friends are excellent pool players but I am married to a pretty decent golfer who never complains about the courses here and he has played on some courses of merit throughout the world.

You hit the nail on the head.im very impressed. But the story goes on,better equip. can be purchased at lower cost, but due to contractual agreements things will remain the same. This was brought up 3 yrs. ago and they voted to stay with the same contractor.
So you are spot on, may you get all the rolls Gracie...
