Does anyone have an idea of when the Christmas tree lighting will be this year?

They usually hand out candles & sing Christmas songs beforehand and you can probably ask Santa for what you want!

What time is the parade on Dec 10? We fly in that day for 5 days, but probably wont get there in time. We pick up rental at 330pm and drive to TV.

Yesteryear **** Club will be at the squares that night collecting NEW Toys for Tots, as well as cash or checks made payable to "Toys For Tots". There will be Marines there to help collect the items as well.

Smile Christmas in TV

I was just wondering....do folks in TV decorate a lot for Christmas? I live in Upstate NY and you can imagine how we get into the spirit here with all of the snow and cold!! My husband and I won't be a Villager this season but we will next season as we will start building on our Sanibel lot in April. Do you decorate the outside of your homes? The bird cages? The trees/shrubs? Just wondered how much of these decorations we should bring with us. Thanks for the info.

Last year was our first Christmas holiday in The Villages and I was pleasantly surprised with the volume and the beauty and the spirit of Christmas decorations in The Villages.

Having moved to the south 3 yrs ago, I think people decorate outdoors as much or more than up north. Sure is nicer putting up lights when it's 75 degrees outside
