Default Mitsubishi Ductless A/C

Just had one installed in my lanai. If anyone else has one of these, what settings do you leave it on when away for a few weeks?

Since it is on the lanai, we just use it on demand. It's off at night and if we leave town for any period of time. We only turn it on it it gets uncomfortably warm (or cool) on the lanai.

We keep it in the low 80's when we're away.

When I set mine to low 80's it runs non-stop. Worried that it might shorten its life.

Who did u use to install ? and how much ?

My last lanaii was $4000 for a ceiling one
which was almost 10 years ago when they
were still a newish item.

Is yours ceiling or a wall unit ?

My GEE wall unit was $2400 installed.
