Smile Disabled Vet Needs Golf Cart

Hello My name is Chuck and I am a disabled veteran. I served in the Coast Guard in the early 80's and I served in Iraq from 2006 to 2008 working for the Army. I'm 54 and disabled and need a golf cart to get around on. I don't make much on my disability so I can't afford one! I also need a riding mower! If you have one you can donate I would be so happy to have it! chucklarney@yahoo.com or call 352 775 2853. Thank you and have a blessed day!

Chuck thank you for your service. I was in Vietnam 69-71 but no physical injuries. Have you checked with the VA for help?

My pleasure serving. Fortunately my disability didn't come from service. I have a lower back disorder that is somewhat crippling. I'm still able to walk but for short periods. The VA doesn't help much but they do help! Thank you for your service also!

Chuck & Greg thank you for your service. 1966-1972 Air force.. Chuck try checking with the American Legion. They may have some insight into securing cart for you. They have tons of connection available.

Chuck, whatever you do, please enlist with a legitimate local charity. I'd think that would make this a much simpler event, assuring the donor both everything is on the up and up and so they won't have any problems if they declare a donation on their taxes.

I used to work for the guy who keeps putting signs up for people to donate cars golf carts and anything else. Sure it's a tax write off but I know from experience that he's a crock! The whole year that I worked for him he never donated anything to anyone. Never helped one person!!! Someone donated a $200,000 motor home. 3 weeks later he took a 2 month vacation to Alaska with it! That's why I quit working for him! The signs that you see are white with red lettering. The phone number starts with 669 and I won't say no more. Don't want to get sued!!! If you can, let people know it's a sham!!!!
