Where do you live?? We're in the Mallory, Amelia, Hadley area---no outages here in two months...at least on our side of Odell.

If you're in the newest area, it may be due to construction issues. Once in awhile a power line gets accidently cut. This can happen anywhere!

I am grateful for our reliable power in the Villages. We moved from south Florida and had intermittents all the time. FPL is called Florida Flicker and Light.

I'm in Sunset Pointe. Power went out with amazing speed at about 9:15 last night [01/10/13]. Returned an hour or a little later.

I saw at least 4 trucks from SECO right at the Sunset Pointe gate on Bailey Trail today [01/11/13] obviously replacing one of their big transformers, or at least what I assumed to be a transformer. That was at about noon!

There's been no further upset.

In my 7 years, 11 months here, this would rank as the uncontested longest outage ever seen, by at least 45 minutes, if not more! And, by my best guess, it would only be the 5th or 6th since January 2005!

Those who may continue to be concerned about loss of power should not be at all distressed!

In Virginia Trace the power went off for maybe 1 second, if that long. It wasn't off long enough to disrupt all the clocks, but the cable TV had to reset itself.

Last night, at my house in Caroline, the lights on the lanai flickered for just a second....the lights in the house didn't. When our guests went home, they had no power in Buttonwood.

It flickered where I was and we all thought it was "last call".

Power was out in Pennecamp. Went out about 9 while the neighborhood girls were playing cards. Brought out the LED candles and kept playing. Went home in the dark. It was out about an hour.

Omg Gracie...I haven't been up late enough for last call since I was working two jobs. You must be a party animal still!

Well, to be honest it was at nine, that is pretty much when The Village Watch is out looking for carousers, isn't it?

Daily Sun reporting an outage? You're kidding, right?
