Default Have you moved within TV

If you have moved within TV did you downsize or up-size?
Just taking an informal poll.

Default Up sized

We are moving this week to upsize. We needed a bigger garage cuz hubby likes cars. He also thought we needed a pool. So...we sold our beautiful little furnished house that we just purchased last October to move to a bigger, 1year old house. Lots to do! Life is good!

Talking

After two years in a Iris, we moved into a little larger house with a large pool and more privacy.
Took a little loss on the first house, but the new house was worth it!

Yes, we moved from one designer to a slightly larger designer. Different floor plan and must "fits" better.

Herbaru, I haven't moved within TV, but between my CYV neighborhood and another CYV neighborhood that I'm familiar with, I'm aware of 5 couples who downsized from TV designer homes to villas. So it does go both ways. Hope I didn't mess up your bet.

On our 3rd house in TV. Started with a Neighborhood Villa in Caroline---moved to a designer in Hadley and then to a larger designer on the golf course in Sanibel. I've heard that people move 3 times in The Villages.

Bought in Piedmont to rent out and retire...expanded Gardenia...rented well but we just retired & wanted to build new in south & are so pleased. We built an Iris with lots of changes that you can't do anymore. The average villager I hear moves 2 to 3 times!
