When the snow birds come down in a few months with all their money, I get this feeling the prices are just going to increase even more.
Also the asking prices on the used golf cart's sold by individuals are close to full retail. I just can't believe what's going on with inflation. Any suggestions? Thanks
When you look at what you get for the money, to me it is one of the biggest rip offs in the history of mankind. Essentially nothing more than a fiberglass body on a big lawnmower engine.

Default Atomic Electric Golf Carts

Consider an Atomic
They are air conditioned
Working windshield wipers
SiriusXM radio and much more
They are the same price or less than a Yamaha

We ordered a new Yamaha cart from The Villages Golf Cars in June and it’s due to arrive in October. However for those 5 months we have a free loaner cart. The price is what it is. It’s how bad do you want a great cart with convenience?

When we asked about availability they told us it would be December or January until we could get a new cart. We decided to buy a used cart. Check the paper, next-door or on here. We paid $5600.

We just priced out a 2nd golf car from the Villages Golf Cars. No...prices have not gone up 15%, more like 4% from last year. As for pre-owned carts? It's simple supply and demand. Kinda like houses nowadays, a good used cart will be snatched up in a matter of days, if not hours. We will continue to buy from Villages Golf Cars because they provide great service.

We, everywhere, on everything are suffering from price shock. The consumer price index,
measure of rising cost, INFLATION, is now 5.5%.

Carts 4 Less on 27/441 Fruitland Park. Got two carts for the price of one Village cart. They'll pick your carts up if repair is needed. No waiting for delivery. Good luck!

Carts and Clubs a few miles N of the villages is better pricing and they have service trucks that come to your home
I purchased a new 2020 Yamaha golf cart from Country Village Power Equipment in May of 2020. Saved over $3000.00. Absolutely great service. Delivered to my house when we bought it, picked up and delivered for free when our custom-ordered seats came in, and did the first oil change and service in our driveway for much less than the others quoted me. I recently spoke with Steve there to schedule my next service at home. Love that place!

Maybe out of context. If, they are trying to sell you a golf cart a SALESMAN might tell you that. We've had no trouble getting our cart serviced. They are good. They are not perfect.
Perfect is not possible. They are expensive and there is no shortage of other places to use.

They don't hold their value like a Yamaha so the used ones are cheap.

yes, they are high. and its supply and demand, so they are not discounting or making deals.

yes there is a queue to get them built. I waited 2 months. it was worth it. and we made the choice to use the folks in the Villages due to service needs. I didn't want to buy from someone 20 miles away. that made us nervous.

anyway, we had a nice custom one we are happy with . $16K
