Default Fleece Blankets to Donate

I have several new fleece blankets that I would like to donate.

Is anyone collecting them to distribute this winter?

Thanks

You might call some of the local food pantries. They might have an idea or two. Another alternative is the animal shelters. They're always looking for bedding. Bless you for thinking of others.

You might contact this org - they work with the homeless Vets and their families in the Ocala Nat'l Forest. This being the week of Veteran's Day makes it a special time to think of them!

not too many ideas for donating on this site. I think I'll just donate them to a women's shelter. I've been involved with Harbor House in Orlando in the past. I don't know of one here.

So sad that you can't find something local.

There is a women's shelter in Leesburg, "Haven of Lake & Sumter Counties" on South St., 352-787-1379. You might give them a call.
