That happened to me here in Chicago...twice. It lasted for days. It was just my internet and phone. They finally came out and fixed something in the wiring out to the box. My experience has been that if it doesn't come back on in a few hours there is a bigger issue. Of course I had to make many phone calls, and then fight for the deserved credit owed for lack of service, blah, blah, blah. Best of luck.

We're new to the area.
Other than Comcast, are there other cable companies in The Villages? Does Direct TV also supply internet and phone service?

We are in Silver Lake, and Comcast is working fine.

Depending on your location in The Villages you might also have access from Centurylink or Bright house.

Smile A Solution

A solution to Comcast users: Cancel Comcast TV Service and go to Direct TV,Go to AT&T for phone service and the technique of hitching up the in house to you Cell Service while keeping your phone number and separate Cell number, (cost = $20 per month unlimited calling). last keep Comcast for internet. Just some ideas..

Usually, it's cheaper to get your sevices bundled if possible. We had Comcast TV, phoine and internet. Just recently switched TV to Dish. When we did, Comcast said the minimum for internet and phone would be $79 and they left it bundled with minimum TV service, which we didn't use. The phone and internet alone would be around $110. Switched phone and internet to Century Link and the bill is supposed to be $60.
