Default Purple Martin Baby birds doing the rounds above our houses.

Neighbor has a large bird house that has Purple Martins. We have been enjoying the birds up till now. The multiple babies are now enjoying their freedom and flying over the neighborhood while leaving a mess all over people's birdcages, roofs and driveways. Do these birds remain with the parents in the house or will this problem continue? What do you suggest? I'm not familiar with Purple Martins.

The parents will remove the poop from the birdhouse and drop as they fly off to look for food for the youngsters. Love martins, they are so social.

All birds poop lots.

They only use housing for nesting, once fledged they will go to roost site in evening shortly. They will be gone within month here in Florida and use roosting sites. Good thing you don’t have flock of pelicans fly over from nearby pond.
