Default Quantum Fiber Internet Service

We are moving and considering this fiber internet service. They do not offer TV service but there is Direct TV streaming service and many others.

Does anyone have Quantum Fiber Internet?

Also considering Spectrum and Xfinity (which we currently have) but like most cable companies after the first year the rebates go way up.

Thanks

We have. Had CenturyLink for 7 years. Found out about Quantom Fiber. Called and found out that they are under the CenturyLink family, but offer only hi speed fiber.

That said we switched. Got 200mbsec for $30 month. That is $25 less than what we were paying CL for slower speed

Quantom came out and installed a month ago. Great service. They provide a new wireless router and extenders to achieve whole house wireless coverage. Perfect. Come with a great phone app to monitor if you wish.

Cancelled CL. A great experience.

We have had CenturyLink fiber-to-the-house for over 8 years. For new customers, the name is now Quantum Fiber but I believe it is just a name change and the same people are involved. If you go to the CenturyLink website to signup for new service you will eventually be directed to a Quantum Fiber webpage. Our bills are still under the CenturyLink brand. Our price is "fixed for life" at $45 per month - it won't change unless we change the service. I believe the price for new service with Quantum can change with time. The service has been very reliable and they deliver the nominal bandwidth all the time as far as I can tell. I use my own router.

Thanks for the feedback. I believe that Century Link was DSL service not Fiber but it may be a division of Century Link Corp?

Sort of, I guess. If you signup for new fiber service then you will deal with the Quantum branding. Our fiber service, as I already discussed, is still with the CenturyLink branding. If you are in an area not serviced by fiber and signup for internet service then I suppose you might wind up dealing with the CenturyLink brand name for their DSL service. I believe it is all under the same corporate structure if you go high enough.
