Default Wondering about loud noise

I live off from Odell between Havana and Mallory. About 15 minutes of so ago, a very large/loud noise went, what seemed like directly over our house and very low. It didn't sound quite like a helicopter but if might have been. Does anyone else know what it was? I didn't make it out of my chair or outside to check it out. Man that was scary sounding!!!

We live in the Keystone Villas off Havana Trail. It was a helicopter...saw it fly over. Most likely a medical chopper. Many times they use the vacant lot next to Walgreens in Colony to pick up an accident victim or extremely ill person who needs to get a trauma hospital ASAP.

It was actually two choppers that flew by, impressive but loud. Hope whatever their objective was got accomplished.

Be thankful you do not live near the quarry or turnpike.

The quarry or turnpike has no effect compared to the chopper that can some back to Nam. Before they were a whisper to some, i knew exactly what the sound was.Time spent in evac hospital at rocket alley gives you that experience for many years, if not forever.

A DC-3 heading roughly north as seen from Waterlily Ave off Hillsborough Trail. Flying quite low and throaty Pratt and Whitney engines calling attention. Almost missed it.

I saw that monster flying low the other day...it even looked like he had wheels down...I wondered where the pilot was going to land that thing....it was quite a way from the Leesburg airport
