Ok...TOTALLY random question (show's you how my mind goes...)..what goes on in the villages for halloween? Just so you don't think I'm totally crazy, I just ran across something in a drawer from a party we had last halloween...made me think about it.

Every body gets all dressed up in costume, gets into groups of 20 or 30 people with spooked out golf carts, and does a progressive party trick or treat, house to house with different drinks at each house. Then a golf cart parade around the squares.

Trish:

Not so sure l2 is speaking truthfully! May be a neighbor of mine in Sunset Pointe, but I've never seen such shenanigans! Maybe a Good Idea

Could be a trigger to remembering a couple or more horribly cold, wet H'eens when I was still escorting my daughters up and down the street. The older folks, who no longer had to do that, set up small bars on their porches so we could get a "top up!"

That is S-I-C-K!! I think I love it. I'm told I make a mean dracula. . . of course that was when I had hair!! We can't wait to join the parade!!! Are there port-a-potties along the route? Wife says I know every rest area between Montgomery and TV!! Well, she's right this time!:

Great idea I2. Since door to door trick or treating isn't allowed, there is nothing that says driveway to driveway isn't.

If there's a full moon, perhaps you can wait until after dark and go as a Warewolf!

I used to always dress as a bum since it wasn't a big leap from how I usually looked! I bet a lot of you also dressed up as a bum.
It probably wouldn't be politically correct these days.

Here on Cape Cod they have a Doggie Halloween Parade in our town square. All dogs dress up (and yes some humans as well). Prizes are given for Best in Show, Cutest, Scariest, Most original, etc. Lots of fun. I am surprised they do not do something like that in TV.

We're going to Disney World's RV park and staying there for three days. The RVers all decorate their rigs and trick or treat around the park.
