In the newspaper a couple of weeks ago there was an article about a resident in Pennecamp who owns 75 gas stations and saw the need for one in the newer area. He is building a retro-station in front of Pinellas Plaza that should open late May. That's probably the construction next to the bank that is going up. There is a new burger restaurant called 'Square One' that is under construction in the plaza itself on the end nearest to Wildwood. I believe they are a new chain of upscale burger joints out of Tampa with 18 locations.
