Default Froggie poop

I am loving my new home and it has a front porch with a railing. I don't mind the critters who scurry and hop across it but of late all of the little froggies we are having are sitting on my nice new porch railing and pooping. And the gecko's like to poop on the wall. How do you get the stains out of the paint?

AND....How can I politely get them to use other facilities.

I don't need to kiss them, I already have a prince at our house.

Is it just me? Is anyone else having problems with the frogs? When you open the door they hop on your head or shoulder and it gives me the willies. For folks who don't live here, they are about the size of a thumbnail.

I don't recall seeing them at our house in Hadley, maybe because we are now close to the preserve? Jane is gonna have a fit when she gets here and finds some new critters on her house.

You might want to try Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I've used it to get coffee stains off the ceiling when my wife dropped her cup and it landed just right. I thought I was going to have to paint the whole ceiling.

Welcome back, gracie. You were missed (there's even a thread)
Where In The World Is:

Here's a link for how to get rid of frogs. Seems like a mixture of white vinegar and water is best. I would use less vinegar than they recommend, to start. Some of the other recommendations use products that actually kill the frog, so I definitely would NOT use those.

Default Tree Frogs?

I wonder if they are tree frogs, and if your house is new, there are not many trees around yet?

How about installing some tiny, tiny rolls of toilet paper?

Wish this site had a "LIKE" icon that we could click on with comments (ie Facebook has). All you folks have me chuckling this morning! Thanks for the post...I can't contribute as I don't think we have the problem with critters pooping like you do, Gracie. Would we need a magnifying glass for the gecko's?? LOL

No poop thread is valid without the output of Bill-n.
Gracie, where have you been hiding him?

Carry a small plastic bag as you walk around your porch..........I've seen people use them when they follow their dogs around.

You could tie a big, snarling, barking mutt out there on a BIG chain.

Default Graciegirl, welcome back. And, a poop thread to beat!

I did a little research. Depending on the types of frogs involved this resource would probably get you the best answer. Sumter County Extension Office ? Solutions for Your Life - UF Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences

Default Frog alert

Gracie, you MUST save all the frogs! I heard on the news tonight that frogs are disappearing all over the world. Seriously! Is all water polluted now?

Any time I need a good chuckle, all I need to do is log into this forum.

You are all a funny bunch.

Thank you for the laugh. I needed it today.
