Default What a beautiful morning!

For all of those stuck in snow, rain and cold, I apologize for this post, but .....

It is a beautiful, albeit a little brisk morning here. I was sitting outside enjoying my cigarette and just generally communing with Sweetums and the world. I heard a rustle in the oak tree and looked up. There was a beautiful cardinal in the tree! Looked a little more and spotted a nice, fat robin on the ground and a small bird with a beautiful yellow chest (a finch maybe) sitting in the hyacinth bush.

I may not be a bird person but I couldn't help but appreciate the beauty of these three. What a beautiful morning in TV.

Boy you do know how to rub it in.. When I woke up this morning 3am it was 2F above and about 15mph winds here in Valpo.. By the time I got to work outside South Bend it was snowing hard.. I do have a birch tree filled with cardinals however. lol
I'll be in TV in about 2 weeks to enjoy some of your warm weather. Save some for me .

Donna, its a "brisk" morning but the sun looks beautiful. Can't wait to go for my morning walk... and if I don't get away from the darn computer, it will be my afternoon walk.

TV is truly beautiful!!

It was a little brisk on the golf course ths morning. I wore shorts because I thought it would get warmer. Unfortunately it didn't.

But it was sure better that sitting and shivering in a sub 32 degrees area.

Poor caveman got a little nippy in his shorts! My heart is bleeding for him.

Actually not too bad here in MA today. Awaiting a new cold front.

Currently 51 degrees with sprinkles and overcast here in the North SF Bay area.

We were up at our summer place in lake county (a 3 hour drive North of SF) over the long week-end (spraying roundup on the weeds) and with all the rain we have had in the past month the hills were emerald green, creeks running and clear crisp air. Temps from morning lows around 40 to mid day highs of about 65. Some snow on the high mountain tops around the lake basin.

Just got back from TV last Monday - wife caught a cold on the flight home.

Well.........we woke up to a beautiful -8 degrees, here in MN..... Not so beautiful. But, thanks Red, and all of you, I love hearing about warm weather, with birds chirping. It makes me feel a little better. Now, tomorrow, when you all are sitting in the sun enjoying your morning coffee........it's supposed to be -14 here. Raise your cups to all of us less fortunate folks!!
