Me too.

On my Costco runs to Orlando...I always include a stop at one.

On our Costco runs, we go to either PF Changs or its counterpart fast food version, Pei Wei. Either one of these restaurants is my wish for the vacant space in LSL.

Let's face it... ANY restaurant could make it there very well. All they have to do is serve quality food at a reasonable price and treat the customer with the proper attitude. It's really not that hard!

Guy Fieri's lost us as customers when they refused to cook their hamburgers medium. We were told it was company policy to cook the beef well done. I just can not imagine Guy being on board with that.

Red Robin. Best burgers money can buy. Modestly priced.

While I rarely drink, on those infrequent occasions I find myself going to Red Robin...I can't pass up their Bailey's Shake. :mmmm:

Steak 'n Shake isn't even in the same class...as Red Robin.

OH YES. I do like PF Changs. I am never afraid of getting shellfish mixed in there and their stuff is so yummy.

I have a shellfish allergy and I am never sure servers quite understand me if English is not their first language. Went to Thai Ruby and ended up in urgent care.

Bob and Ray's House of Toast

Their jingle was:
House of Toast
Gives you the most
And try our fruit juice

but i can't that audio

I seriously doubt a "Red Hen" would make it there.

Great FRESH Florida Seafood!

I had hope for blue fin. But it is owned by the country club group in which all the good tastes EXACTLY alike. So I don’t hold out much hope that BlueFin will do real fresh Florida seafood.
I know there is a market for it here. Just look st Bonefish.

Hope I’m wrong about BlueFin, but judging by their track record, I’m not holding out much luck.

It’s Florida, people. We shouldn’t have to go to a chain (Bonefish) for a great seafood dinner, but they are the only ones in town.
I’d love to see a real Florifa establishment go into Guy’s. Time will tell!

A new restaurant must be unique as to not compete with existing restaurants in or near the share- no burger joint to complete with Johnny Rockets,no Italian to compete with Red Sauce,--this is a Villages policy

I love the title of this thread. REALISTICALLY, What restaurants? There are many posts about highly individual wants for Restaurants in The Villages, here is a list of those that are in The Villages. Restaurants survive or fail not because they live up to the criteria of gourmets and experts but because their fare AND price is suited to the demographics of the paying public who frequent them. Here are the ones that are now surviving.

Surveys are only as good as the people participating--according to the above survey Johnny Rockets is the best restaurant in TV--no categories, no price ranges

worthless comparison

LOL. The list is not in order of best to worst. If you actually read the reviews you get information about what people liked and didn't like about these places. It's helpful to someone new looking for a place to eat. Not worthless at all.
