We need Starbucks in Brownwood!

We do need a coffee shop in Brownwood but not a SB...a shop with real baristas that know how to properly brew a great cup of coffee.

You must be going to open a restaurant there. How about a old fashion coney island with hot dogs and chili. National coney island is great.

I wouldn't have to travel an hour for a basil pear fizz and the best flatbread around. |

Honestly, after doing a little research--Rutt's Hutt in NJ--consistantly voted best hot dogs in the US--check out their website

Thanks for the tip on the Absolute. Originally I thought they were talking about pear eau de vie, which used to be in the recipe. |

No one has any better right to tell what is delicious than the next guy.
Across the world some of the best tasting meals are served on newspaper in the back streets and don't cost much. Some are served at high priced restaurants to. If you listen to other people here you will be amazed at the things they have accomplished. The greatest surprises often come from those who are quiet and humble. How much money people have has little to do with the amazing things they have done on this earth or whether or not they know what is good to eat. |
And the wheels on the bus go round and round....

You are right. Perhaps if I had grown up in the environment of a lot of family restaurants like those found in New York, I too would feel differently. I think that I don't like when people look down on others and dismiss them because of their taste in food...…...or anything for that matter.

I think DD in Brownwood is fine. The coffee is better than SB and you can sit outside, drink your coffee and solve the world’s problems.

Sumter has two Starbucks, including one in Barnes and Nobles, as well as Panera. Spanish Springs has both a DD and Panera. As for the Guy Fieri location, after my recent trip back to the west coast I’d love a Poki restaurant, or Indian, or a family Chinese restaurant with Dim Sum. But I know for the restaurant to be successful it probably needs to be a national chain that can bring in it’s own proven management team. As for these restaurants that require larger footprints, there is a lot of unfinished space right on the square in Brownwood, as well as down the street from Bluefin that could house some pretty big restaurants if they added the spaces together. They may have enough full time residents south of 466A now to make that viable. |

The place that has all the frozen yogurt machines and you pay by the weight of your dish, they have them in the malls.
|
What to replace Feraris with?
Either a bakery or the kind of yogurt shop that has all the different machines and flavors for you to try and you pay by the weight of the dish after you finish. These are in malls everywhere.( except close by of course)

I have never been, but it strikes me that a Mission BBQ store might go over well in The Villages.
From Google... "Casual chain featuring BBQ & American sides, plus memorabilia honoring soldiers & first responders." |
