Default Stacking Door Wall Tracks

We have a 5 window stacked door wall. It’s a big step over and down to exit house without stepping on the track. Any thoughts on an insert for the tracks to make the exit easier?

Parents coming for a visit, I know it will be a challenge to safety get them out to the lanai, and have their dignity in tact. Thanks

JSR Trim - 352-816-0918 - While they were installing Crown Moulding in a house on Biller Cir, they made one for their lanai sliding door track. Private message me if you'd like to see it.

I have heavy rubber thresholds from amazon at all three doors; the one on the lanai is about 18 inches deep and 4-5 inches thick with a slope; so stepping out of the house is level, just have to clear the tracks. Helps me to not have to step down at the door.

We have friends who have a product like this in their home: Ramp

There are several to choose from, in different heights. I have walked on this ramp. It is solid and does not move. I like that it is completely removable and easily reinstalled.

You may be able to have wood strips trimmed to the correct width and just lay these in the tracks and just remove these when your company leaves. I would measure the depth of the track and the width of the spaces and buy wood strips that match one of these, and then have the strips cut to match the other.
