Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Kathy Barbato and I am a member of the Boomer Loomers Club here in The Villages. We knit, loom and crochet for various charities (some are local) to create hats, blankets and garments for those in need.
Should you have yarn you have been saving for a rainy day sitting in your closet and no longer going to use, we would love to take this yarn off your hands. We are also open and grateful for donations of new yarn as well.
This is a great way to find new homes for your unused yarn. It allows our members to continue to knit, crochet and loom baby items, hats, scarves, lap blankets for patients receiving chemo.
We meet every Saturday at from 1-3pm at:
