Default Recycle/dispose of CRT television

We have a large CRT tv with a bad power supply that we'd like to give away for repair/resale/reuse or just disposal. I've seen them out with the trash and they seem to disappear, but thought maybe someone had other experiences. TIA

Unfortunately they do not accept CRT tv's, etc.

Putting them out for trash the previous evening used to work, but I think the night collectors have become more picky in the past few years. Worth a try, though.

All you have to do is the day of your normal trash day, set it out at the curb like normal. Then call 352-748-0109. Tell them what you have sitting out and they will get your address and send a special truck to pick it up. But you have to call them.

Thank you very much for the info! They will be picking it up this coming Friday. :-)
