Back in 1968 I was on a ballistic missile submarine-we were on patrol when the Scorpion was reported overdue-well we, were extended two weeks beyond our normal patrol schedule 74 days , we were extended 12 more days--this is akin to what we are experiencing with Covid now--its been 30 days--be prepared for another 30 days --till we know what's really out there--this is no drill --its for real--be prepared for the long haul-

In the end we'll be better & stronger for it !!

For a bunch of people who I believe never knew what it really meant to be sequestered, this is a pussy cat--inconvience i s temporary , the alternative is forever--you've never been underwater for 86 days- you haven't a clue what deprevation is--for most people here its a speed bump & I'm trying everything I can to bite my tongue

Am I supposed to be comparing the contribution of being in a submarine to that of a nurse going into work today knowing the enemy for sure is in the room ? I don't know how to do that. But I do know who to give the badge of courage to. Pussy cat pussy cat I love you.
