Default Remove inground spa

Anyone have experience with a contractor to remove an inground spa? Our spa was originally built and installed by T&D about 11 years ago. We contacted them for removal but they are too busy to even put us on a wait list. Didn't know there were that many residents looking for removal of their inground spas.

Try Spa Kingdom, Route 441 just south of 466a, they sell and install spas, and move them when necessary, so they would probably remove also.

If the Spa is salvageable try offering the Spa as payment for removal. That's if it is operational. It will be gone quickly if there is any value to it.

T&D will do it. They removed my neighbor's in-ground spa within the last year.

T& D removed ours and all went smoothly. They installed it originally when the house was built. They did a wonderful job of filling in the hole, redoing the concrete and finishing the area to blend smoothly with the existing patio. Wish they could do the removal for you.

I've been trying to do this for 3 years. T&D won't even come out to estimate it, they are too busy. I tried many contractors and many of them didn't even return my calls. Spa Kingdom wasn't interested but they were very helpful in trying to modify the spa for me so that I could remove the cover easily. They are a wonderful company.

My suggestion is to go back to T&D, who I have ascertained is the best company to do it, and don't ask for an estimate, just get on their schedule to remove it. I think the cost should be about $5000. Beware of unknown contractors who say they can do it because I had one quote me and when I tried to pin him down on a step by step contract, he never returned my call. That told me something.

Good luck.

If you are amenable please PM
