I am thinking of renting my patio villa for a few months without a property manager but have never rented before. I looked at thevillages4rent.com but have no idea how to draw up a rental contract. Any suggestions?

There are several online forms you can use or I'm sure someone on TOTV will be happy to send you a copy of their rental agreement.

You will probably have to do some customizing. One thing I highly recommend is to add a clause that if the electric bill is higher than X amount, the renter is to pay the difference. Some renters have been known to set the heat for 78 and the AC to 65. Makes for a very large bill.
