Are you a retired railroader living in The Villages and surrounding areas? The next meeting of NARVRE (National Association of Retired and Veteran Railway Employees) Central Florida – Wildwood Unit 66 will be this Monday, March 10, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Bob Evans restaurant, Rt. 466A in the Colony Plaza shopping center.

If you receive Railroad Retirement this is the organization for you! The sole purpose of NARVRE is to help preserve our railroad pensions. If you have a spouse receiving RRB payments they are also welcome to join and attend our meetings. NARVRE has been in existence since 1937.

One of my favorite people I met over the years here in the Villages is a retired railway station manager . I have not seen him in a few years. Not sure if he looks at Talk of the Villages. But one of more of his many friends might see this thread.
